CYB3RPSYCH0 | VOCALS

IMV’s frontman and primary heavy vocalist, functions as the quintessential hardcore punk rockerboy amongst his companions. Inspired by the likes of MySpace era post-hardcore and screamo, CYB3RPSYCH0’s vocal style derives from the works of Alesana, Of Machines, Hopes Die Last, Silverstein, A Skylit Drive, and other similar artists in the same vein of emo. His anarcho-liberationist lyrical compositions heavily touch upon themes such as anti-authoritarianism, transhumanism, and anti-capitalism.

MOKKA | GUITAR

Mokka is one of the two guitarists of IMV. He takes influence from guitarists like Steve Vai, Marty Friedman, Alexi Laiho, and Dimebag Darrels to provide melodic leads to IMV songs. Additionally, Mokka is a fan of Death and Thrash metal which shows in the crunchy riffs that give the band its signature sound.

FOX | GUITAR

Fox is one of the two guitarists of IMV and the creative force behind the band’s visual identity. Mask collector and designer, he crafts the band’s signature masks and contributes to their merch and social media artwork. His inspirations are Linkin Park and Buckethead and his compositions range from metal to more atmospheric pieces.

PHASMA | BASS

Phasma is the powerhouse of the bass guitar, combining fast fingerstyle and chords with fierce and funk-like slapping. He takes inspiration from Primus, Korn, Rush, Yes, and Tool. Phasma is also the voice behind some of the back up screams using fry screams and gutturals.

ZERO | DRUMS

Zero is the drummer of IMV. Influenced by ii, Joey Jordison, Dave Grohl, and Matt Cameron, Zero brings explosive energy to the kit and an aggressive style that forms the basis of the band’s heavy sound.
